Abstract

This paper examines research investigating gender-different responses to Face-Threatening Acts in speech acts in Georgia. The speech acts under analysis in this paper are extracts from actual Georgian interactions. The research is conducted only on cross-gender conversations. Surveys based on quantitative comparisons have been made on a social network for additional support of the results.
