Abstract

History, art and literature of Christian nations are closely related toChristian relics. Their study is thus very important and valuable. In this regard,publications by the German author, Michael Hesemann, which have becomeinternational bestsellers, deserve special attention. These are The Blood Clothof Christ, Maria from Nazareth. History, Archaeology, Legends (Maria vonNazareth, Geschichte, Archäologie, Legenden), The Silent Witnesses of Golgotha,(Die stummen Zeugen von Golgotha). This paper aims to communicateinformation on these interesting books and their author to Georgian readers.
