Abstract

2012 წლის 29 ოქტომბერს გარდაიცვალა ბონის უნივერსიტეტის (გერმანია) შედარებითი ენათმეცნიერებისა და კელტოლოგიის ემერეტუს-პროფესორი კარლ ჰორსტ შმიდტი. მინდა გავიხსენო იგი, როგორც ისტორიულ-შედარებითი ქართველური ენათმეცნიერების ერთ-ერთი ყველაზე თვალსაჩინო წარმომადგენელი, რომელიც მრავალი წლის განმავლობაში, როგორც სამეცნიერო საქმიანობით, ისე პიროვნულად, დაკავშირებული იყო ქართულ ენათმეცნიერებასთან.
