Studies on PlatoAbstract
The article discusses the contribution of the 11th-12th century Georgian philosopher and theologian Ioane Petritsi and the 20th and 21st century philosophers and translators (Sergi Danelia, Savle Tsereteli, Meri Chelidze, Bachana Bregvadze, Guram Tevzadze, Nino Dolidze) to the study of Plato’s works and the translation of his dialogues. Extensive research on Plato, explication of various issues, different approaches to the same question and, most importantly, the unabated interest in reading and studying his works enable us to present this great philosopher to the broader public from different perspectives.
