The Constituent Assembly, as the highest legislative body of the country, left an indelible mark on the history of the Democratic Republic of Georgia.
The Assembly, with its rich and fruitful activities, provided excellent experience, which, along with educational value, today has a particularly practical purpose.
The review considers the transcripts of the Constituent Assembly of Georgia, which were published by the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia named after Ilia Chavchavadze in 8 volumes in 2019–2020, under the title: “Constituent Assembly of Georgia. Protocols of the Meeting”.
This important matter was chaired by the Editorial Board made up of Irakli Iakobashvili, Mzia Khositashvili and Emzar Jgerenaia.
The publication was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Constituent Assembly of Georgia. This is a documentary chronicle of the legacy of the legislators of the Democratic Republic of Georgia.
