Abstract

The paper is dedicated to Professor Shushana Putkaradze’s 70th birthday and the 45th anniversary of her scholarly and academic activities. Her research work focuses on ethnic, linguistic and cultural diversity in the historical southwestern part of Georgia. Shushana Putkaradze studied the dialects of the Georgian population residing in historical Georgian provinces as well the speech of Georgian Muhajirs, who migrated to inland Turkey from present-day and historical Georgian provinces.
