Abstract

This work examines the religious beliefs and traditional customs andholidays of the Ossetian people and highlights the relationship betweenthese traditions and the social structure, economic activities and familylifestyle in Ossetian society. This work draws on written records as well as onarchaeological, ethnographic and folk evidence.
