Abstract

The idea of creating a lexicographic base of the Georgian dialect corpus was formed within the Project “Linguistic Portrait of Georgia”, which was aiming at documenting Kartvelian linguistic diversity and developing corpus
query tools. According to the research goals of the project, two important Georgian corpora were created. They are Georgian dialect corpus ((http://corpora.co/#/) and Georgian Metalanguage Corpus (http://sml.corpora.co/).
