The Novel and Reality

Abstract

This article deals with the development of the novel as a genre. It analyzes the peculiarities of Georgian epic thought: ways of novel creation, its development and deconstruction. From the perspective of the sociology of literature, the importance of the literature/reality interface is posed as aproblem in the world of fiction as well as of non-fiction.
