Abstract

Ilia State University celebrates the 80th birth anniversary of Professor Emeritus Zurab Kiknadze, an outstanding Georgian assyriologist, bibliologist, folklorist, literary critic, translator and Editor-in-Chief of our Journal Kadmos. The anniversary article highlights his broad scholarly interests and invaluable contribution to the development of the humanities in Georgia.
